How to Post a GIF Image to Social Media

If you have used a photo booth in the past year, you more than likely have gotten an animated GIF image to e-mail to yourself along with your photos. More than likely you have also tried to post that animation to Facebook or Instagram, just to find that only the first picture shows. FRUSTRATING! Currently Facebook and Instagram do not supporting the posting of GIF images. However, there are currently apps out there that can make posting a GIF easy. Easy? HOW SWAY? Here are a couple of apps that will convert your GIFS to video, making they Facebook and Insta ready.

1. GifVid - Although the app is .99 cents, it is worth it. The interface is simple and conversion is relatively quick. Videos can be saved directly to your phone or to a cloud app.

2. Gif Maker - An alternative to GifVid, GIF Maker is free. However GIFS converted bear a watermark in the lower right corner.

3. Giphy.com - Not an app, however you can upload your GIF to this site and it will convert into an video. The converted file can be e-mailed to you or downloaded to your computer. Best of all, NO WATERMARK!

Pause Flash Photo Booths, turn each session into a GIF image, with the capability to sending directly to your device via our Social Sharing Station. Pair that with the capabilities of the apps above and you are good to go.
